Who is responsible

QRCodeMax.Vip operates this website. You can reach us at [email protected] for any question about your data.

Using the generator, scanner and bulk tool

You do not need an account. The code you design is drawn in your browser, and the scanner reads images and camera frames on your device. Images and camera frames are never uploaded. For some features the page sends the text you typed to our server to draw the code; we do not keep it.

Data we process

If you create an account or contact us we process:

  • Account data: name, e-mail address, password (stored only as a one-way hash), language and, if you switch it on, two-factor authentication data.
  • Your codes: the content, design and settings of the codes you save, and the rules and schedules you set for dynamic codes.
  • Messages: the name, e-mail address and text you send through the contact and report forms.
  • Technical data: our servers and our content delivery network process your IP address and browser details to deliver pages, prevent abuse and keep the service secure. Logs are kept for a short period.

People who scan a dynamic code

When someone scans a dynamic code, we record only anonymous statistics: the time, a rough device type, the country and the language. We do not store IP addresses or identifiers of scanners. To count unique visits we use a one-way hash that changes every day and cannot be traced back to a person.

Before a dynamic code is activated, and from time to time afterwards, we may check its destination address with a safe-browsing service. Only the address of the destination is sent, never data about people who scan.

Why we process data

To provide the service you asked for (contract), to keep it secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest), to answer your messages, and to show ads or measure usage only if you agree (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time with the cookie settings link in the footer.

Advertising

Some pages of this site can show ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are loaded only after you accept them in the cookie banner. Google and its partners may then use cookies and similar technologies to show and measure ads, and may process your data under their own policies. If you reject, no advertising script is loaded. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Who receives data

We use hosting and content delivery providers, an e-mail provider to send account and contact messages, a bot-protection service on some forms, and, if you consent, Google AdSense. They process data on our behalf or under their own terms. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep data

Account data and codes are kept until you delete them or your account. Anonymous scan statistics are kept as long as the code exists. Messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. Security logs are kept for a short period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and export your data, to object to processing and to withdraw consent. You can download or delete your data from your account, or write to [email protected]. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Android app: QR Code Reader & Generator

The Android app QR Code Reader & Generator does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. The app has no internet permission and works entirely on your device. It has no ads, analytics, crash reporting, accounts or sign-in.

  • Camera: used only to read QR codes and barcodes while the Scan screen is open. Camera frames are processed on the device and are never stored or sent anywhere.
  • Photos: only the image you pick is opened (to read a code or add a logo). The app does not access the rest of your gallery. Codes you create are saved to your gallery (PNG or JPG) only when you tap Save; SVG and multi-file exports go only to the app you choose in the share sheet.
  • History and settings: the history of scanned and created codes, logos and settings are stored only in the app private storage on your device and are not included in cloud backups. You can clear the history or turn it off in Settings. Uninstalling the app removes this data.
  • Links and other apps: when you choose to open a link, phone number, e-mail, location or event, the content is handed to the matching app (browser, phone, e-mail, maps, calendar), which follows its own privacy policy. Links never open without your confirmation unless you turn on automatic opening.
  • Children: the app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
  • Contact: [email protected]
